We are our own measure of the universe or, to be or not to be religious

So, religion is not about where we come from, or how do we get here, or why are we the way we are, its about how we live now and every day, how we face every second with our soul, our energy and our love, it's about identity: the mistery of what 'we do not have words to describe' but about the feeling of our selves, our conciousness, the sense of 'I', the sense of 'being part of'. But, if all these is true, then being religious or not is irrelevant if you feel and live life with same intensity. The human dimension applies for all of us. that is: we are our own measure of the universe. So, do we have any other measure than ours?
